A brief introduction about myself~
I started as an introvert in the early days of my school life. I used to be the shy kid that nobody will ever notice in class with just an average grade. It was not until 2005 that I discovered Google search engine when my parents installed Internet in my house. Back then, I was an avid fan of Pokemon Sapphire. Being a perfectionist, I wanted to collect all the Pokemon available in the game and I managed to do that through Google search. I was so amazed by the information on the walk through that I became from nobody to one of the Pokemon experts in my class.
Being naturally curious, I started exploring websites on how to study for subjects like science through Youtube, setting up online groups to share notes with my friends through Facebook, referring to Wikipedia for my school projects etc. Surprisingly, my grades had not only improved gradually but I also found myself having more time to play with my friends after school. After I completed my SPM examination (equivalent to GCSE O- Level) in 2011, I was awarded a bursary by the Ministry of Education Malaysia to pursue the Cambridge A- Levels.
Turning Point of My Life~
While waiting for semester to commence in July 2012, I decided to fulfill my duties as a citizen of Malaysia by answering the call to join National Service. I suffered a fluke injury during National Service stint which resulted in temporary disability in the usage of my right arm and hand for almost a year. The injury was known as brachial plexus (a nerve injury). Initially, I felt despair and fearful for my future. After that, I realized this is not the life I wanted, hence I decided to take control of my life.
Hence, I began my journey of self- development and self-discovery to learn more about myself physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. I actively attended various workshops and seminars. I also joined international organizations such as Toastmaster International and got myself involved in many projects.
Then, I began learning and developing entrepreneurial skills. My self-confidence built up gradually and I managed to step out of my comfort zone from being an introvert to an extrovert by actively engaging students and adults. Henceforth, I deeply believed that miracles will happen when you truly desire them. After my recovery from my injury, I decided to share my personal experience to inspire and help people to change their life.
The Birth of Digidentz
Currently, I am pursuing an undergraduate study in Engineering Science at University of Oxford. At Oxford, I have to be responsible for my own academic achievement and be independent in my learning process. During this period, I researched more about productivity tools available around us to help me with my studies and organize my life. As time passes, I discovered that many of my friends are also facing the same challenges too. In view of this, I started this website to share my knowledge in using technology to overcome our daily challenges in life.
Please feel free to ask me anything related to productivity apps, entrepreneurship skills, studies or even life philosophy! I look forward to hear from you soon!
