The U.S. Presidential Election: Donald Trump vs Joe Biden – Part 1

The Presidential election will be on 3-November 2020. Who will be the new President of the USA after the election on 3-November 2020? Will Donald Trump be re-elected or Joe Biden will be the new president?

The Republican president, Donald Trump is being challenged by Democratic Party nominee Joe Biden. As election day approaches, many popularity polls conducted by the U.S. media indicated that the Democrat, Joe Biden is leading Donald Trump as the race enters its final stretch.

It is interesting to evaluate the Bazi Chart of both candidates to see whether the results of the election are already pre-ordained in their destinies.

For my evaluation and forecast, I will ask the following questions-

1)Are the candidates in their favorable Luck Pillar(LP)?

2)Are the candidates in their favorable year and are the yearly elements supportive of their destiny?

3)The competition effect. Comparison of the competitor’s strength to see who is stronger?

4)The date and month of election favor who?

Trump is a Yin Earth person. There are many Earth and Fire elements in his chart. He has a special chart called a vibrant chart. A vibrant chart cannot have Influence elements(DO, 7k). Yin Earth in the stem transformed Yang Wood(DO) in the heaven stems into earth element in the summer month. Yin Wood(7K) is buried inside Yin Earth Goat and has no influence on the Day Master of Yin Earth. A vibrant chart is treated as a weak chart. His favorable elements are Fire(DR, IR) and Earth(F/RW). His resource element, Yang Fire(DR) is strongly rooted in Snake in the Hour Pillar. His self-element, Yin Earth(F) is strongly rooted in Goat and Horse. Yin Earth (F) relates to networking, connection, and deal-making which are his strengths. Yin Earth also refers to resilience which explained why he is able to bounce back after a few bankruptcies in the past, the unsuccessful impeachment against him, fast recovery from COVID 19, and others. The seasonal Fire combination of Snake-Horse-Goat added more fire which his resource element made him very resourceful in getting whatever he wanted.

Below is the chart of Joe Biden.

Joe Biden was born in the winter season when the water element is most prosperous. His day master is Yin Fire. He was born in the winter season which is considered not in season and hence his day master of Yin Fire is weak. His favorable elements are wood and fire. Wood produces fire and fire supports fire. Wood is his resource element and fire is his companion element. In summary, he requires the supportive strength of the favorable wood and fire elements while water, earth, and metal are his unfavorable elements that are antagonistic and bound to bring problems and obstacles.

1)Are the candidates in their favorable Luck Pillar(LP)?

Donald Trump

His current Luck Pillar (LP) is Metal Ox. Metal from his Chinese age of 68 – 77 years, which is his unfavorable LP as metal his unfavorable element is strong in his current LP. The Ox in his current LP clashes with Goat in his Day Pillar in his natal chart. Clash usually means forced changes, challenges, pressure, and obstacles. In summary, he is not in his favorable LP.

Joe Biden

His current LP is Earth Goat from his Chinese age of 76-85 years, which is his unfavorable LP as earth his unfavorable element is strong in his current LP. The Goat in his current LP also clashes with Ox in his Day Pillar in his natal chart. In summary, he is also not in his favorable LP.

Both of them are not in their favorable LP.

Next, I will check the year to see whether 2020 is their favorable year or not which is more important than the 10-year luck pillar.

2)Are the candidates in their favorable year and are the yearly elements supportive of their destiny?

Donald Trump

Year of the Rat in 2020 is a challenging year for Donald Trump. This is because Rat which is the Grand Duke of 2020 clashes with the Horse in his month pillar in his natal chart. Such clash usually means forced changes, challenges, pressure, and obstacles. As the month pillar represents his career, the clash is viewed as not positive for him as his DO star in the heaven stem of the month pillar which represents his status, power, and position is also being clashed at the stem level by Yang Metal from the annual pillar for 2020 besides the Rat-Horse clash at the branch level this could indicate that he could lose his presidency.

Rat also “harm” Goat in his day pillar which indicates that he will have health issues and challenges as the day pillar represent his health and relationship. True enough as he is infected by COVID-19 recently.

The clash resulted in him reacted slowly to the COVID-19 pandemic; he minimized the threat, ignored or contradicted many recommendations from health officials, and promoted false information about unproven treatments and the availability of testing which attracted a lot of criticisms on the way he managed the pandemic. A country battered by the coronavirus, with cases spiking up and an economy that has yet to fully rebound from the pandemic. Polling by Reuters has shown that a majority of Americans have continuously faulted Trump for his handling of the pandemic. and it has remained a top voter’s list of concerns throughout the year.

The protruding negative Geng or Yang Metal is his negative metal output or HO star in his annual pillar for 2020 is the reason for his many controversies and negative comments.

Metal and water in his annual pillar for 2020 which are his unfavorable elements are not supportive of his favorable earth and fire elements. Hence, 2020 is not his favorable year.

Joe Biden

Year of the Rat in 2020 is also a challenging year for Joe Biden. This is because Rat which is the Grand Duke of 2020 clashes with the Horse in his year pillar in his natal chart. Such clash usually means forced changes, challenges, pressure, and obstacles. The year pillar represents his reputation and popularity with the general public. In March 2020, a former Biden staffer named Tara Reade accused him of 1993 sexual assault. In April 2019, Tara Reade said she had felt uncomfortable on several occasions when Biden touched her on her shoulder and neck during her employment in his Senate office in 1993. Biden and his campaign team vehemently denied the allegation. However, the Rat-Horse clash is mitigated as the Ox in his day pillar which combines with the Rat which is positive as it will reduce or negate the impact of the Rat-Horse clash for Biden. I think the allegation will not affect him much in the election due to the positive combination of Ox and Rat.

Although metal and water in the annual pillar for 2020 are not the favorable elements of Biden however, the combination of Ox in his day pillar with the Grand Duke which is the Rat in 2020 is generally considered favorable for Biden as it will reduce or negate the impact of the Rat-Horse clash and could make it a favorable year for Biden. A combination is also considered as a positive change. With the support of Grand Duke which is related to leadership, I believe that 2020 could be a favorable year for Biden. He has an edge over Trump in the favorable year factor.

This presidential election is going to be fiercely contested. Both candidates have an equal chance to win. Anything can happen on that election day. Who do you think will win?
