How to use Fengshui to increase your opportunities in 2020?

 

Fengshui is an ancient metaphysical science that studies how Qi or energies can be tapped from the external environment to benefit the residents in a building.

The four important factors of Fengshui are –

• Environment- the environment refers to features like mountains, hills, and water.

• Building- the building’s facing direction, shape, internal layout-main door location, master bedroom and location of stove.
• Residents – every resident is represented by their own personal Life Star or Life Gua based on the individual’s birth date and gender, and this, in turn, will determine their favorable and unfavorable directions and sectors in their house.
• Time – the time factor is important in all systems of Fengshui. As Qi is dynamic in nature, no property or individual will enjoy good fortune forever.  Qi changes every year. We are now in Period 8 (2004-2023).

I will be using short-term Fengshui especially Flying Stars Fengshui to help you to get more opportunities in the current challenging times. Short-terms means it is for one year only. There are many techniques to increase your opportunities by using Fengshui. One of the simple techniques that I would like to share with you is using the Life Star number in your Bazi Chart and the current Flying stars for 2020.

Your Life Star number represents your personal sector of your house.  It represents your competence, self-confidence, and personal capacity.

Your personal sector should not be missing in your house/apartment. You also need to check what is in the personal sector of your house. For example, if the personal sector of your house has a toilet, store, and staircase, it indicates that your competence, self-confidence, and personal capacity will be affected and limited.

Please ensure your personal sector of your house is clean and tidy to ensure Qi flow smoothly there and there is no toilet, staircase or storeroom in this sector of your house. Please also ensure that outside this sector there is no T-junction, big tree, lamp post, sewage pond, rubbish dumb and pylon to block the flow of Qi coming in from the external environment into your personal sector. You need to make sure that there is no blockage of Qi in the sector.

They are a total of 9 Life star numbers and the numbers represent the respective sector of a house:-

• Life Star 1 represents the North sector.
• Life Star 2 represents the South-West sector.
• Life Star 3 represents the East sector.
• Life Star 4 represents the South-East sector.
• Life Star 5 represents the South-West sector for a male which is equivalent to Life Star 2 and Noth-East sector for a female which is equivalent to Life Star 8.
• Life Star 6 represents the North-West sector.
• Life Star 7 represents the West sector.
• Life Star 8 represents the North-East sector.
• Life Star 9 represents the South sector.

Below is the sample of the Bazi Chart of Mary showing where to locate her Life Star number. Mary’s Life Star is 6 or Qian Gua.  Her Life star 6 represents the North-West sector of her house.

To use the Life star technique, we need another piece of information which is the Flying Stars Chart of 2020 as shown below.

Flying Stars 2020

Fengshui energies change from year to year. Please note that the below flying stars for 2020 will come in from February 4, 2020 and last until February 3, 2021.

There are 9 flying stars and their attributes are:-

• Star 1, a nobility star is in the North-East (NE) sector.
• Star 2, a sickness star is in the South (S) sector.
• Star 3, an argument star is in the North (N) sector.
• Star 4, an academic star is in the South-West (SW) sector.
• Star 5, a calamity star is in the East (E) sector.
• Star 6, a career and authority star is in the South-East (SE) sector.
• Star 7, a robbery star is in the Center sector.
• Star 8, a wealth star is in the North West (NW) sector.
• Star 9, a secondary wealth star is in the West (W) sector.

How to use this technique? I will use a combination of 10 theory. A combination of 10 denotes harmony and is considered very auspicious in Fengshui. The combination of 10 is known to have a doubling effect on the good fortune of the household. A Combination of 10 also represents collaboration, partnership, joint-ventures, and opportunities.

For example, Mary’s Life Star is 6. What combines with 6 will give you 10?  It is 4 as 6 + 4 = 10.  Mary has to find out where is the sector of the Flying Star 4 in her house. Based on the above Flying stars chart for 2020, Star 4 is in the SW sector of her house. Star 4 is an academic star. She should spend more time in the SW sector of her house to learn new skills and upgrade her knowledge. Once she has acquired her new knowledge and skills like presentation, public speaking, conducting online-meeting, and other skill sets, she will be presented with more opportunities in her career or business.

Take another case, John has a Life Star of 9. Based on the combination of 10,  Flying Star 1 will combine with Life Star 9 as 9 + 1 = 10. He should sleep or work in the NE sector or room of his house as based on the above Flying Stars Chart, Star 1 is in the North-East sector of his house.  Star 1 is a nobility star. When he works in the sector, the energy in the sector will enhance his opportunities to meet noble people in his career/business. For example, John may be presented with the opportunities to meet a generous boss, his nobleman to allow him to start an intrapreneurship business. Intrapreneurship means your boss allows you to use the company resources to start your side business and you share profits with him.

Another example, Peter has a Life Star of 5 which is equivalent to Life Star of 2 for a male. Based on the combination of 10, Life Star 2 will combine with the Flying Star 8. Based on the Flying stars chart above, Star 8 is located in the NW sector of his house. He should sleep or work in the NW sector of his house where the Flying Star 8 is located. Star 8 is a wealth star.  He can spend more time to perform his important work in the NW sector to increase his chances of getting side gigs opportunities or develop a new stream of income or any wealth-related activities.

One final example, Angeline has a Life Star of 4. Based on the combination of 10, Life Star 4 will combine with Flying Star 6 as 4 + 6 = 10. Based on the Flying stars chart above, Flying Star 6 is located in the SE sector of his house. Star 6, is a career and authority star. If she has trouble in taking action and execution, it is better for her to work in this sector as the vibrant energy there will make her proactive in taking action and execution of her work plans. Her ability to take action and execute plans will give her the opportunities for promotion later on.

The above illustrates how you can use this simple but effective Fengshui technique to enhance your opportunities in 2020. Now you have learned the simple Fengshui technique, you can use it immediately.

You need a copy of the floor plan of your house/apartment and plot your 9-grid chart. What to do? You stand in the middle of your house/apartment and use any compass or download it from your smartphone to take the direction and sector of your house. Then draw a 9-grid chart with the compass sectors indicated in red and marked out the Flying Stars numbers in blue as shown below.

As currently many of us are unable to go out due to lockdowns and restricted movements and the time, this is the best time to learn and position yourself in the good sectors of your house to benefit from the vibrant Qi in the sector which has a combination of 10 to increase opportunities after the lockdown and restricted movements have been lifted.
