On 20 October 2022, Liz Truss announced her resignation as prime minister after 44 days in office, making her the shortest-serving prime minister in the history of the UK.

Her government announced large-scale borrowing and various tax cuts in a mini-budget, which led to financial instability and was widely criticized. It is no surprise to me that she announced her resignation recently as I expected it to happen sooner or later when I looked at her chart.

She was born on 26 July 1975 at the end of the summer season when the earth is prosperous and fire is strong. She is a weak Gui or Yin Water day master. Her favorable elements are metal and water. Her unfavorable elements are earth, fire, and wood. Earth represents her influence element which is her Direct Officer (DO) and Seven Killings (7k). DO & 7k represents position and power. Normally for a person to hold a high position like a prime minister the DO or 7k should be strong and favorable in the chart. However, her influence element (DO & 7k) is not favorable and strong, she only has one 7k star in the hidden stem of her month pillar which is weak and not prominent which indicated that she could not stay long in her position as the prime minister of the UK.
