Friday the 13th-Paris Attacks

Friday the 13th, also known as Black Friday, is considered an unlucky day in Western superstition. Friday the 13th is also a 1980 American slasher horror film. The film concerns a group of teenagers who are murdered one by one while attempting to re-open an abandoned campground. It grossed over USD39.7 million at the box office in the United States. The film’s box office success led to a long series of sequel, a crossover with the “A Nightmare on Elm Street” franchise. Please also read my blog on “Assessment of Wealth Capacity”.

On Friday the 13th, before I left for home, I jokingly teased my colleague, Regene Chu to take care of herself in case the slasher of Friday the 13th appeared. When I was in Penang visiting my dad who was hospitalized, I was shocked by the tragic news of the Paris attacks.

On the evening of 13 November 2015, a series of coordinated terrorist attacks—consisting of mass shootings, suicide bombings and hostage-taking—occurred in Paris, France, and Saint-Denis, one of its northern suburbs. Beginning at 21:20 Central European Time, there were three separate suicide bombings outside the Stade de France and, nearer central Paris, there were mass shootings and a suicide bombing at four different locations. In addition, the deadliest attack took place at the Bataclan theatre, where attackers took hostages and engaged in a stand-off with police which ended at 00:58 on 14 November. The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria(ISIS) or Islamic State(IS) claimed responsibility for the attacks.

129 victims were killed, 89 of them at the Bataclan theatre. A further 415 were admitted to hospital with injuries sustained in the attacks, including 80 people described as being seriously injured. In addition to the victims, seven attackers died, and the authorities continued to search for any accomplices remaining at large.

The terrorist attacks started at 21:20 on 13 November 2015 and ended on 00:58 on 14 November 2015.

Based on above Chart, water is excessively strong. The Hour Pillar is pure water pillar(both heavenly stems and earthly stems are water element) and strongly rooted in water. The day master(heavenly stem) is also water in the Day Pillar. In the Month Pillar the earthly branch is water and rooted in the season of winter(or water).

There was also a double pig-snake clash in the Hour-Day-Month Pillars. Clash of water and fire. Signifying suicide and fire explosion. There was also clash of water-fire in the Heavenly stems in the Day and Hour Pillar. In the Chart, water is too strong and its controlling element earth, wealth and output element are too weak. Water element rules the mind and thinking which is in the Hour Pillar. So having a strong negative water implied that during this hour, we can expect the terrorists to have mental depression, madness and suicidal tendency. Coupled with Pig-Snake(water-fire) clash in the Hour, Day and Month Pillar which resulted in explosions and fire from suicide bombers. In the hour of madness and insanity the gunmen simply shot and killed people and blew up themselves.

In the heaven stem there is a Friend star and in hidden stems in the Hour Pillar are RW and HO stars. The places connected to Friend star are places where we would interact, connect and meet with friends and acquaintances. The places represented by Friend star are cafes, pub, coffee bars, karaoke joint, watering-hole.

The Rob Wealth(RW) Star is associated with making friends, social activities, competitive activities and places where activities involving teamwork take place. The following are examples of places represented by RW star: Sports stadium, night clubs, bars, cafes, restaurants, drinking lounges, private clubs.

Hurting Officer(HO) is the star of performance and the limelight. The following are the examples of places represented by the HO star: Theatre, cinema, concert hall, circus, jazz bar.

Coincidentally, the attacks happened near sports stadium, in bar, pub, restaurant, concert hall and night spots. The deadliest attack of the night came at the Bataclan concert hall at 21:40 where Californian rock group Eagles of Death Metal was playing. The 1,500-seat Bataclan hall was sold out. Eighty-nine people died as the terrorists fired assault rifles into the crowd. At least 99 others are in a critical condition in hospital.

This is a very tragic and sad event which happened on Friday 13, 2015.
