Depression is classified as a mood disorder. It may be described as feelings of sadness, loss, or anger that interfere with a person’s everyday activities. Depression is more rampant now because many people have financial problems, lost their jobs, relationship problems, work stress, worries, due to restricted lockdown, restricted movement control, and social distancing in view of the current coronavirus pandemic. It may interfere with your daily work, resulting in lost time, insomnia, and lower productivity. It is important to realize that feeling down at times is a normal part of life. Sad and upsetting events happen to everyone. But, if you’re feeling down or hopeless on a regular basis, you could be dealing with depression. It is important that depression be managed early and properly if not it can lead to suicide.

1)Robin Williams. He was a famous American actor and comedian.

He had 3 earth and 2 metal elements in his chart. In August 2014, at age 63, Williams committed suicide by hanging at his home due to depression.

2)Leslie Cheung. He was a famous Hong Kong singer and actor.

He was born in the Rooster month and Monkey year which contained strong metal elements. There were 2 metal and 2 earth elements in the chart. He died of suicide on 1 April 2003 at 6:43 pm (HKT). He leaped from the 24th floor of the Mandarin Oriental hotel, located in the Central district of  Hong Kong Island. He left a suicide note saying that he had been suffering from depression. He was 46 years old then.

3)Anthony Bourdain. He was an American celebrity chef, book author, journalist, and travel documentarian who starred in programs focusing on the exploration of international culture and cuisine.

He had 4 earth and 2 metal elements in his chart. On June 8, 2018, he committed suicide by hanging in his room due to depression while on location in France for Parts Unknown.

4)Lucy Gordon. She was an English actress and model. She became the face of  CoverGirl in 1997 before starting an acting career.

She had 4 metal and 3 earth elements in her chart. On 20 May 2009, Gordon was found hanging in a Paris flat due to depression. She left two suicide notes.

5)Sushant Singh Rajput. He was an Indian actor who is best known for his work in Hindi movies.

He had 4 earth and 3 metal elements in his chart. On 14 June 2020, Rajput, aged 34, was found dead, hanging from the ceiling fan in his home. He had reportedly shown signs of clinical depression before his death. 

6)Chester Bennington. He was an American singer, songwriter, musician, and actor. He was best known as the lead vocalist for Linkin Park.

He had 3 earth and 2 metal elements. On July 20, 2017, Bennington was found dead by his housekeeper at his home. His death was ruled a suicide by hanging.

7)Chris Cornell. He was an American singer, songwriter, and musician best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the rock bands Soundgarden and Audioslave.

He had 3 earth and 2 metal elements. Cornell struggled with depression for most of his life. He was found dead in his hotel room in the early hours of May 18, 2017, after performing at a Soundgarden concert an hour earlier. His death was ruled a suicide by hanging.
