Russia-Ukraine war: Bazi analysis

Russia launched a full-scale military invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. Russia earlier has expressed its strong disagreement over Ukraine’s intention to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). However, Ukraine would not budge on its pro-west stance and received the support of the US and European Union. This irked Russia and prompted it to build its military forces around Ukrainian borders under the pretext of national security and military training. It moved in as a peacekeeper in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions in eastern Ukraine allegedly after receiving a request for military support from the pro-Russia separatists in these regions. Later Russia launched a full-scale attack on Ukraine to reassert its superpower status and boost the Russian president’s popularity at home.

Russia got its independence in the month of the Horse which is the peak of the summer season when the fire is prosperous. Based on the summer season of the month, its day master of Yang Earth is considered strong as fire produces earth in the 5-element productive cycle. Ukraine got its independence in the month of the Monkey which is the autumn season when the metal element is prosperous. Based on the autumn season of the month, its day master of Yang Fire is considered weak as prosperous metal weakens fire. Putin was born at the peak of the autumn season when metal is prosperous. He is considered a weak Yang Fire day master as fire is weakened by the prosperous metal. His favorable elements are fire and wood as they would strengthen his Yang Fire day master. Yang Water or Ren Water in the annual pillar of 2022 will strengthen his Yang Fire day master as in Bazi classic, Ren Water when sees Yang Fire is akin to the seawater reflecting sunlight or like a mirror reflecting sunlight which will be like a strong blazing fire. The fire generated will strengthen his Yang Fire day master. He is also in his favorable luck pillar of Fire-Snake or Rob Wealth, a solid fire pillar that will provide another source of firepower for him. Tiger in 2022 and in February month will also form a seasonal wood combination with Dragon in his year pillar which is favorable for Putin.

Putin became more confident and bold now as his Yang Fire day master has been strengthened by the annual pillar of 2022 and his current favorable fire luck pillar of Rob Wealth (RW). RW also indicates that you either get robbed or rob another person. As RW is favorable for Putin, he chooses to “rob” another country which is Ukraine of his land or territory.

There is a unique coincidence in Putin and Zelensky’s luck pillar and Bazi chart.

Putin is now in the luck pillar of Fire-Snake which is identical to the year pillar of Zelensky, President of Ukraine. This is considered a Fu-Yin pillar. Fu-Yin is regarded as a sad, crying, and challenging event. It is also a time to reflect or learn some important lessons or things.

Zelensky is now in the luck pillar of Earth Rooster which is identical to the month pillar of Putin. This is considered a Fu-Yin pillar. The Fu-Yin luck pillar of Zelensky is in Putin’s month pillar indicates that Putin sees Zelensky as a challenge or danger to his power, authority, presidency which triggered Putin to take action by attacking Ukraine as it is leaning towards NATO for support and help.

Zelensky was born in the month of Ox which is the winter season when water is strong. He is considered a weak day master of Yin Fire as water will weaken fire. His favorable elements are fire and wood. Yang Water or Ren Water in the annual pillar of 2022 will combine with Yin Fire in his year pillar to try to produce wood. However, the Ren Water in 2022 on the top stem is too strong like ocean water overpowering the formation of wood as such the combination of Yin Fire and Ren Water cannot produce wood. Yin Fire which is his Friend star will be combined away by water indicating loss of support from friends or allies like NATO and the US. Tiger in 2022 will harm Snake in his year pillar. Harm means betrayal or being let down by someone. He also has an Ungrateful Punishment of Tiger-Snake.  It means helping someone however in the end they are ungrateful or appreciate your help. His year pillar is important to him as it represents his people, land, territory, and country. He is also in his unfavorable luck pillar of Earth Rooster which does not have his favorite elements of fire or wood. Tiger in 2022 also forms a “destroy” relationship with Pig in his day pillar. Destroy indicates the end of something, renewal, or reboot. The harm and ungrateful punishment indicate that he will not receive help from his friends or allies like NATO to protect his country. Will NATO and the US send their troops to help Ukraine? This is unlikely.

The Fu-Yin pillar of Fire-Snake of Putin is in Zelensky’s year pillar. The Fu-Yin in the year pillar refers to sad, crying events and challenges to people, land, and territory in Ukraine which is under attack.

The attack of Ukraine by Russia was on the 24th of February was a destruction day. This is an Earth Monkey day. Putin chose a Monkey day that will destroy Pig in Zelensky’s chart. Putin seems to have a good knowledge of Fengshui or maybe he sought the advice of a good Fengshui master from China. I believed that there is no coincidence in choosing the date of the attack on a destruction day.
