Evergrande crisis: Destiny of Xu Jiayin

The Evergrande Group was founded by Chinese billionaire Xu Jiayin, also known as Hui Ka Yan in Cantonese, who was once China’s richest man.
Evergrande made its name in residential property – it boasts that it “owns more than 1,300 projects in more than 280 cities” across China -but its interests extend far beyond that. Outside housing, the group has invested in electric vehicles, sports, and theme parks.
In recent years, Evergrande’s debts ballooned as it borrowed to finance its various pursuits. The group has gained infamy for becoming China’s most indebted developer, with more than $300 billion worth of liabilities. Over the last few weeks, it’s warned investors of cash flow issues, saying that it could default if it’s unable to raise money quickly.

Evergrande Group missed paying bond interest due on Wednesday (29-9-21), two bondholders said, its second unpaid offshore debt obligation in a week, although the cash-strapped company on Thursday  (30-9-21) made a partial payment to some of its onshore investors. With liabilities equal to 2% of China’s GDP, Evergrande has sparked concerns its woes could spread through the financial system and reverberate around the world, though worries have eased somewhat after the central bank vowed to protect homebuyers’ interests.

As an investor, a creditor, or a financier it is important that we know how to analyze the fortune of a company by analyzing the Bazi chart, ten-year luck pillar, and current annual pillar of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company. The ten-year luck pillar and the current annual pillar will have an impact and interaction with the natal Bazi chart that will affect the luck and fortune of the company as the CEO is the person who made many important decisions for the company.

The founder of the Evergrande Group is Mr. Xu Jiayin, also known as Hui Ka Yan in Cantonese. His Bazi chart, current 10-year luck pillar of Earth Dragon from age 60-69, and the Year pillar of 2021 are shown below.

Please print your Bazi Chart here.

He is born at the end of the autumn season when the metal and the earth are strong. There are many earth configurations in his chart. He is considered a strong earth person or day master. He has a Rob Wealth (RW) earth star in the heaven stem of his year pillar which is strongly rooted in the RW in the Xu or Dog in his year and month pillar. He has a Rob Wealth (RW) Structure in his chart. People who have Rob Wealth (RW) Structure are normally high-achievers who succeed in their endeavors and pursuits in life. They have good networking, social skills, and are good at making deals but will also face the threat of a crisis at least once in their lives. His Evergrande Group is facing a serious financial cash flow crisis now.

For a strong day master, the earth element is considered his unfavorable element. He is currently in his unfavorable luck pillar of RW or Earth-Dragon. For a strong day master, his RW star indicates loss of wealth which explained why his company currently has cash flow problems and his company’s share price has crashed more than 80% to date.

Dragon in his luck pillar triggered a double clash with Dog in his year and month pillar. His month pillar represents his business and the year represents his network, market, and industry. Clash indicates changes and challenges. The clash has affected the status of his wealth and business. The Dragon-Dog clash is an earth clash that will release the RW in the hidden stem of the two Dogs to the surface indicating loss of wealth to him.

More cash flow issues will appear in October which is the month of the Dog the peak of the clash with Dragon. He would probably be forced to sell or dispose of some of the Evergrande Group assets or business to raise cash to pay off its creditors and debts.

Ox the Grand Duke in 2021 also triggered a clash with the Goat in his day pillar which caused further problems for him in terms of his personal relationship with his spouse and family.

Ox in 2021 will also form a Bully Punishment with Dog in his year, month pillar, and Goat in his day pillar. This type of punishment indicates that he is in a situation that is helpless or cornered and can’t do much about it. The Bully Punishment indicates that he will be pushed into a corner by his creditors, suppliers, financiers, authority, and customers to settle their debts and obligations. Bullying Punishment will be more intense in January 2022 which is the month of the Ox.

Will he overcome the financial problem faced by the Evergrande Group?

However, he will never give up easily and will find ways to overcome the financial problems faced by his Evergrande Group as he has a Fui-kong pillar in his Wu Xu or Earth Dog in his year pillar in his natal chart. This will give him the fighting spirit and never-say-die attitude to fight his company’s current financial crisis and overcome the problem to save his company. However, it will be an uphill task for him.

The Dog-Dragon clash will be escalated in the month of October which is a Dog month indicating that he will face more financial pressures and loss of wealth.

RW appears again in December indicating more loss of wealth. In December, his noble people of Rat will emerge indicating that his noble people will come to his rescue and give him some breathing space.  Will his noble people come in the form of the government bodies that will step in to inject new funds by taking certain stakes in his company?

In November and December 2021 there is a DW and IW in the hidden stem indicating that he must raise fresh funds by selling his company’s assets, business, inviting certain government agencies or banks to take up certain stakes in his company. Huge fresh funds injection must be done timely within the next few months due to its tight cash flow problem and coming huge loans repayments.
