How do you know if you are compatible with someone?

Today is Valentine’s Day. It also called Saint Valentine’s Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine is celebrated annually on February 14.  Flowers, chocolates, and gifts are exchanged between loved ones, all in the name of love. After your date tonight with your girlfriend or boyfriend, you may be thinking about whether to take your relationship to the next level or not? Before you make your decision you want to check whether your boyfriend or girlfriend is compatible with you or not. You may feel good about her/him but you are not absolutely sure. Who do you turn to for help? One of the ways is to print his/her Bazi Chart and do a compatibility check.

Bazi offers several ways to assess compatibility. One fundamental rule for compatibility is that both partners’ charts must possess plenty of elements favorable to the other.

For example, if Mr. A is a weak Fire day master requiring more wood for support and nourishment but has plenty of earth in his chart. Miss B is a strong Wood day master with plenty of fire but needs the earth to exhaust the excessive wood energy. Mr. A will find Miss B very compatible as she has plenty of wood and fire in her chart. This is because she is able to provide wood and fire to the man with very weak fire.

Mr. John is Yin Metal Day Master born in the season of spring when metal is not prosperous. He is, therefore, a weak Yin Metal Day Master. He needs the support of the earth, which in turn needs the support from fire. His compatible partner should have substantial earth and fire elements to meet his needs.

Let us examine the chart for Miss Mary, the girlfriend of Mr. John.

Mary is a Yang Fire Day Master born in winter when water is most prosperous. Water will extinguish the fire. So she is a weak Yang Fire lady who needs the support of wood. She should look for a husband or a compatible partner who has sufficient wood in his chart.

Compatible analysis

Mary needs the support of wood, this she can find in Mr. John’s chart as he was born in the spring season when the wood is prosperous. On the other hand, John is looking for the support of fire and earth elements in his girlfriend’s chart. Mary’s Day Pillar has fire and earth which meets his requirement. Although the fire is not strong in her natal chart, during the Luck Pillar of Fire-Rabbit at the age of 30, she was under the influence of strong fire and wood when she first met John and started dating.
