How to find a prosperous “ONG” house that complied with Period 9?

In a few day’s time, we will be transiting to Period 9 on February 4, 2024, a new fengshui era of 20 years which will end only on February 3, 2043. There are many debates and controversies in the market among Fengshui practitioners on whether it is better to buy a Period 9 house to benefit from the flying stars of Period 9 or is it better to continue staying in houses in Period 8 that have good flying stars charts with the Star 9 in front of the house as Star 9 is the most prosperous star in Period 9. In my opinion, it is not a requirement to buy a Period 9 house as some of the Period 8 houses have better flying stars charts than some of the Period 9 houses. You can save your money for other more important things like your children’s education and retirement needs.

Please see below table to check the period of your house. For landed house the period is when the house is completed and the date you moved in. For condominiums and apartments, the period is when it is completed or the date the first occupant of the condominiums and apartments moved in.

There are 2 categories of Period 8 houses that will benefit in Period 9. They are –

1.Prosperous “ONG” houses

Houses in Period 8 facing South 1 (Bing Fire : compass degree from 157.6 – 172.5), North 2 (Rat : 352.6 – 7.5) and North-West 1 (Dog : 292.6 – 307.5) as listed below, will prosper in Period 9. These are the prosperous or “ONG” houses which will prosper in Period 9. In the Hokkien dialect, “ONG” means prosperous. The houses located along the axis of North-South and North West-South East orientation with great landforms – mountains and water will prosper in Period 9. They are the sure win houses in Period 9.

For North 2 facing, it would be even better if there is river, lake, pond or swimming pool in front. For South 1 and North-West 1 facing it would be ideal if there are mountains, highlands or hills in front. It is possible you can 10x your income if the mountains and water are in the right place. For fengshui to work, you need to do wealth activities- to work on getting contracts, deals, side gigs, launch products, start a business, investment and trading. Fengshui energy works like an enhancer to boost your wealth activities. If you sleep for whole day and do nothing it will be like 0 x USD1m = 0. Unless your profession is to make money when sleeping.

2.Secondary Prosperous or “HUAT” houses

Houses built in Period 8 facing North-East 3 (Tiger : compass degree from 52.6 – 67.5), South-East 3 (Snake : 142.6 – 157.5), South-West 1 (Goat : 202.6 – 217.5) and South-West 3 (Monkey : 232.6 – 247.5) as listed below, are the rising stars or secondary prosperous “HUAT” houses. In the Hokkien dialect, these houses can RISE or “HUAT” in Period 9 or known as the “HUAT” houses.

For South-East 3 and South-West 1/3 facing, it would be even better if there is river, lake, pond or swimming pool in front. For North-East 3 facing it would be ideal if there are mountains, highlands or hills in front. Fengshui energy is an enhancer. It is possible you can 5x your income. One thing for sure. you will not get poor staying in the above mentioned Period 8 houses in Period 9.

Congratulations to you and give yourself a pat on the back if you are owning the above mentioned period 8 houses. You do not have to buy a Period 9 house. To make the house better or more “ONG” for you in Period 9, you can do some minor adjustments by aligning your house to the Period 9 direction by using a Period 9 Luopan or a Chinese fengshui compass.

1.Tilt your main door of your house to Period 9 direction by using a Period 9 Luopan

You can align the main door of your house to Period 9 direction by using a Period 9 Luopan. You can tilt your your main door to Period 9 direction as shown below. You can engage a contractor under your supervision to tilt your main door to the correct Period 9 direction.

2.Tilt your work table/desk to Period 9 direction by using a Period 9 Luopan or a fengshui compass

For some reasons that if you are unable to tilt your main door or have problem in doing so, you can tilt your working table or desk to the Period 9 direction as shown below.
